We are very pleased to announce that Attorney Dana M. Mango has joined the VanDerLaan Law Group as a partner, bringing her extensive experience in complex commercial litigation, insurance coverage, insurance defense and employment disputes to the VanDerLaan Law Group team.

Maria Pepe VanDerLaan has recovered more than 10 million dollars to date on behalf of medical providers against managed care companies. Medical providers have recovered additional value in the nature of practice improvements which will reduce unnecessary administrative work and improve the timeliness of payments by managed care companies.

Maria Pepe VanDerLaan has filed suit against Health Net on behalf of five acute care hospitals in Connecticut. The hospitals are seeking to recover monetary damages caused by breach of contract and unfair business and insurance practices. The hospitals allege that Health Net systematically denied, underpaid and untimely paid claims. The hospitals also seek injunctive relief in the form of an order that Health Net cease and desist engaging in the alleged improper acts.
